Now Accepting Applications for Shows to Host Qualifiers for Third Annual InIt2Winit Speed Jumping Series

Omaha Equestrian Foundation is now seeking applications for partnering events interested in hosting a qualifying competition for the 2019-2020 season

The Omaha Equestrian Foundation (OEF) is now accepting applications from partnering events interested in hosting a qualifying competition for its third annual InIt2Winit Speed Jumping Series for the 2019-2020 season.

This season’s Series will culminate in the thrilling $100,000 Init2Winit Championship on Friday, April 5 held during the 2019 Burlington Capital International Omaha, April 4-7, 2019 at the CHI Health Center Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska, home of the highly successful 2017 FEI World Cup™ Finals.

Designed to give riders from the Midwest more opportunities to compete while staying in the region, the OEF’s InIt2Winit Speed Jumping Series is a series of 1.40-meter speed jumping events sanctioned by the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF).

This season’s qualifying events were held from September 2018 through January 2019 at shows including the Great Southwest Fall Classic in Katy, Texas; American Royal in Kansas City, Missouri; Queenie Productions St. Louis Hunter Jumper in St. Louis, Missouri; and National Western Stock Show in Denver, Colorado.

The USEF must approve the series, including qualifying locations, in May of 2019, so all applications for next year’s Series must be received at the OEF office by 5:00 p.m. on March 1, 2019.

They can be mailed, hand-delivered or emailed in one complete PDF document.

Applications sent by mail must be postmarked by March 1, 2019. Click here for further details and Host Application.

“We are truly delighted with the success and popularity of our InIt2Winit Series and we are excited about adding more qualifying events for our third season,” commented Lisa Roskens, OEF founder and chairman.

“The Series not only give riders more opportunities to compete right here in the Midwest, but also provides the unique experience of competing in an exciting championship finale atmosphere for top prize money at a world-class venue!”

Additional highlights of the 2019 Burlington Capital International Omaha include the $100,000 International Omaha Grand Prix in jumping and the $50,000 Dressage Team Challenge in which six teams compete in a Grand Prix and Freestyle.

Team members can be Grand Prix, Small Tour, Amateur, Juniors, Youth, and Para.

This is the first time ever that Para has been included with other divisions in a Dressage team competition, and having a Para rider on each team is mandatory.

Also new for 2019, the event schedule has been expanded to include Open Jumper classes and lower level dressage classes so riders can earn qualifying scores for Regional competitions.
